Our Team
Jackie Zuniga MSN, CCRN, IBCLC
Jackie, the founder and CEO of Milk On Tap Lactation, is a mother of three with a rich background in neonatal care. With over a decade of experience as a NICU nurse, her passion for supporting mothers and their newborns has been the cornerstone of her career. Her journey into lactation consulting began in the NICU, where she discovered her love for teaching mothers to breastfeed and care for their babies. This passion led her to pursue further education, earning a master’s degree in nursing education, followed by a certification in Critical Care Nursing with a NICU specialty. Becoming a mother herself was a pivotal moment for Jackie. Despite her professional background, she faced unexpected challenges in her breastfeeding journey. This experience, which lasted 13 fruitful months, not only gave her a profound appreciation for the breastfeeding process but also deepened her empathy and understanding of the struggle’s new mothers face. Driven by her personal experiences and professional expertise, Jackie became an Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). This role has enabled her to blend her clinical knowledge with real-world insights, offering comprehensive support to new mothers navigating their breastfeeding journeys. Today, Jackie continues to learn and grow alongside her clients and children. Her mission with Milk On Tap Lactation is to empower mothers with knowledge, support, and the confidence that they too can succeed in breastfeeding. Jackie’s dedication to maternal and infant health is a testament to her belief in the transformative power of breastfeeding, both for the baby and the mother.

Priscilla Subervi, BSN, CBS
Priscilla has been a Registered Nurse since 2008, when she began working as a NICU nurse. Over the next 10 years she continued working with infants and children in NICUs and PICUs in both Miami and NYC, as well as working at a PPEC, where she worked in a facility that cared for children with special needs. In 2018 she had her first son, and decided to step back and be at home. It was during this time that she required the help of an IBCLC. The knowledge and comfort the consultant provided helped Priscilla fall in love with the profession. She decided she also wanted to help mothers who were struggling and interested in breastfeeding. She became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist in 2019 and loves that she gets to do this now! Today she has another little girl, and a third baby on the way.
